Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Worker, where you will play a key role in receiving and putting away freight and stock, picking and building pallets for orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will also assist in other areas as needed, ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

+ Perform manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.

+ Engage in shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

+ Operate stand-up CROWN forklifts and PITs, requiring competency and experience.

+ Unload shipments, sort items, and solve discrepancies with second checking and auditing.

+ Verify received goods against shipment records and inspect their condition.

+ Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications.

+ Record received and shipped items in accordance with established procedures.

+ Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.

+ Complete both written and computerized documentation.

Essential Skills

+ Experience operating stand-up CROWN forklifts, including the Basiloid attachment, with over 1 year of proficiency.

+ Comfortable in handling manual and clerical tasks related to warehouse operations.

+ Attention to detail and problem-solving skills in shipping and receiving processes.

Work Environment

Experience a very clean and organized work environment, reminiscent of a Costco but cleaner. The warehouse operates on a swing shift from 11am to 7:30pm, with a 46-hour workweek. Employees benefit from a focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity, with an emphasis on ergonomically safe practices. Be prepared for a busy season with limited supervision initially, as you learn new processes and develop routines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FIFE, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
