ABOUT YOU
As a Senior Legal Counsel, you are a thoughtful and pragmatic legal advisor who thrives in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment where your counsel directly supports operational continuity and public impact. With sharp analytical skills and sound judgment, you balance legal risk and business needs to offer timely, actionable guidance. You build trusted relationships across departments, communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, and stay ahead of evolving laws and regulations. You’re energized by complex challenges, grounded in integrity, and driven to make a meaningful difference through your expertise.
What you will do:
+ Provide timely, accurate legal counsel across Massport’s business lines to support operational continuity in Aviation, Maritime, and Business Administration.
+ Advise on procurement strategy, draft and negotiate complex agreements, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
+ Analyze legal risks, prepare opinions and memoranda, and guide internal stakeholders through legal and regulatory matters.
+ Represent Massport in bid protests, support policy development, and serve as a versatile in-house legal resource on a wide range of issues.
WHAT YOU OFFER
+ J.D. required, with demonstrated expertise in legal analysis, document drafting, and administrative, regulatory, and constitutional law.
+ At least 5 years of relevant or transferable legal experience in a public agency, corporate, or law firm setting.
+ Strong knowledge of contracts law and proven legal drafting skills.
+ Must be admitted to the Massachusetts Bar.
