    We have an excellent opportunity for a Machinist (2nd Shift) to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for Responsible for performing setup and machining operations for a variety of CNC Machining Equipment (Haas VF Vertical Mills, Haas EC Horizontal Mills, Datron's, and others as needed)

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC machines working from detailed blueprints, to perform a variety of machining operations such as; mill, drill, ream, punch, bore, turn, face, etc. to specific tolerances

    + Set up machine by inserting correct tools and fixtures according to blueprints. Select operation sequences, tools, feeds and speeds

    + Devise new tools and fixtures for unusual operations by making machine adjustments and grinding or sharpening existing tools

    + Check dimensions on finished parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers

    + Perform all other work-related duties as assigned

    Job Requirements:

    + Must be skilled in all aspects of setup and operation of the machining centers.

    + Must be able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings of fabricated parts.

    + Must be able to read and write machine "G" code specific to Haas programming.

    + Must be familiar with all the basic inspection equipment micrometers, calipers, height gauge etc.

    + Must have good interdepartmental communication skills both verbal & written

    + Ability to pay attention to small details

    + Knowledge of tools and fixturing

    + Good communication skills

    Education:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + 1-3 years related work experience
