    Position Summary...

Join Walmart/VIZIO and take your career to the next level!

The Computer Systems Engineering team is responsible for managing the Windows and macOS Operating Systems, Hardware standards and policies for the enterprise user community. This will involve escalations from support, automation of workflows, scripting, Intune administration, Jamf administration, 3rd party software configuration and working side by side with the security and network teams to bring the best user experience to the user community.

    What you'll do...

As a key member of VIZIO’s IT team, you will collaborate with internal staff across all office locations, as well as external software vendors, to evaluate, plan, and implement new technologies that support the company's evolving needs. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our Intune and Jamf environments, including advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and working with Microsoft and Apple support to resolve Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) level issues.

In this role, you will oversee the development and deployment of workstation standards across the enterprise, including publishing and deploying application packages and administering OS policies. You will lead strategic initiatives involving Windows and macOS platforms, as well as the cloud administrative tools that support them, including managing the Windows and macOS Device Enrollment Programs.

You’ll also be responsible for implementing and testing machine disaster recovery solutions, while continuously working to enhance the end-user experience and maintain system security through hardening efforts.

Scripting and automation will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you implement platform-specific applications, policies, and security tools. You will design, build, test, document, and deploy new software packages and optimize the enterprise self-service portal for both Windows and macOS devices. Regular maintenance, including patch management and application updates for systems like Microsoft 365, Adobe, and various browsers, will ensure a secure and up-to-date environment.

You will develop and manage dynamic or smart computer groups in Intune and Jamf for software deployment, inventory reporting, and segmentation by role or department. This role also involves working closely with the Information Security team to deploy and support tools for DLP, VPN, EDR, and other critical platforms, as well as partnering with the DSA team on onboarding policies and procedures.

Your contributions will extend to the development of Computer Systems SOPs and IT documentation, including internal knowledge base articles. You will take ownership of escalated Level 3 tickets that go beyond standard deskside support and will be expected to respond to system alerts, outages, and service requests during on-call shifts. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

    What You’ll Bring

You have at minimum a high school diploma and either an Intune and Jamf Administrator certification or equivalent hands-on technical experience. You bring a strong background in supporting Windows 10 and 11 within a hybrid Active Directory environment, with at least two years of direct experience in a support role.

You also have over two years of experience managing Intune, including software packaging, profile deployment, and imaging. Additionally, you have spent at least two years supporting and administering macOS devices using Jamf, along with experience working in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

Your skill set includes administering both Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory, and you are adept at diagnosing and resolving issues related to Microsoft 365 applications on both macOS and Windows platforms.

You have a solid understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NETBIOS, and 802.1x, and can support developers with effective root cause analysis and solutions when needed.

You possess excellent communication and troubleshooting skills and can clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users.

You’re a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced and occasionally ambiguous environments, and you're known for your strong customer service orientation, multitasking ability, and team-focused attitude—no task is too small.

You have a proven ability to contribute to IT knowledge bases by documenting issue resolutions and best practices.

Experience implementing and managing Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems, as well as working with security tools like Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and CrowdStrike on both Windows and macOS platforms, rounds out your skill set.
