Job Description:
BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Engineer - Roadway to join our team! In this role you will get to support roadway design and Temporary Traffic Control Plan (TTCP) development under the supervision of a licensed engineer by preparing plans, 3D models, and reports, managing assigned tasks, collaborating with internal teams, and contributing to both technical and professional development efforts.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Working under the supervision of a licensed engineer, analyze and prepare roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCP) designs, calculations and drawings for Expressway/Limited-Access facilities and Arterial/Local roads using DOT and/or local jurisdiction criteria
+ Develop 3D Models of roadways, using Corridor Modeling in GEOPAK and/or Open Roads
+ Approach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problems
+ Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review by a licensed engineer;
+ May track and provide initial review tasks of technicians or designers
+ Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks
+ Communicate effectively with team members and internal design groups; external communication as required on assigned tasks
+ Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties
+ Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns
+ Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports
+ Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering

Salary Range: $26.25 - $45.96
This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to be posted for an average of 30 days until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.
