Responsibilities
The **Software Developer** makes a direct impact on national defense by building and supporting software solutions used in critical Navy aviation programs. This role supports critical program and project decision-making within the NAWCAD Engineering & Logistics organization under NAVAIR's Mission Operations & Integration (MO&I) group. Work closely with analysts, engineers, and program staff to improve system performance, usability, and integration.
+ Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications tailored to mission and business needs
+ Analyze user requirements to build efficient, scalable, and maintainable code
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are integrated and aligned with operational goals
+ Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software to improve performance and reliability
+ Create and maintain clear documentation, and provide technical support and training to end-users
+ Stay current with industry best practices to recommend improvements and enhance system capability
Required Qualifications
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a related technical field
+ At least **10 years** of experience as a computer programmer/analyst
+ At least **5 years** of hands-on programming experience using modern languages such as **C++** or **Java**
+ **Active DoD Secret Clearance is required**
+ Must be a US Citizen
Desired Qualifications
+ Sofware Development experience in a DoD (ideally Navy) environment is preferred.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.

USD $102,500.00 - USD $160,100.00 /Yr.
