    The Opportunity:

    The CIS program supports our intelligence customer deliver IT services to conduct its globally distributed operations. We are driving an exciting technological transformation of their IT services by leading the design, development, implementation, and operation of cutting-edge solutions. This includes continuous service improvement through the modernization of IT system infrastructure.

     

    CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated **IT Systems** **Specialist** to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, the Defense Intelligence Agency. The position is contingent upon award of the DIA SITE III CIO Information Services (CIS) contract.

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide Tier 2 operational support, including incident analysis, troubleshooting, break/fix tasks, and hands-on technical labor.

    + Analyze system architectures, operational requirements, and infrastructure components to deploy and maintain engineered solutions.

    + Collaborate with Engineering teams and Government stakeholders to refine system requirements, ensuring reliability, resiliency, and availability.

    + Monitor and analyze capacity, performance, and service-level metrics to optimize infrastructure utilization and prevent operational issues.

    + Perform scheduled and ad hoc maintenance, updates, and upgrades in coordination with service interruption schedules.

    + Work with technical writers to develop and maintainknowledge base artifacts, SOPs, and documentation to support operations.

    + Drive Continual Service Improvement (CSI) efforts, researching and evaluating emerging technologies for integration.

    + Utilize Lab facilities for incident investigation, resolution, feasibility testing, and validation of new technologies.

    + Develop test cases and scripts for Beta and Acceptance testing, ensuring complete validation before deployment.

    + Support Blue/Green fielding by managing the transition of engineered solutions from development through acceptance testing.

    + Coordinate with Tier 3 Engineering resources for advanced troubleshooting and break/fix services.

    + Oversee patch management for workstations, servers, and other designated infrastructure across all security domains.

    + Provide strategic guidance and support for Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) implementation.

    + Contribute to required documentation, reports, and data to ensure compliance with contract specifications.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    + Must hold a currentTop Secret clearance and be SCI eligible

    + A BS/BAin Science, Technology, or Engineering and 12+ years of experience, MS/MA and 10+ years of experience, or PhD and 8+ years of experience, AS/AA and 14+ years of experience

    + Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience integrating, operating, and maintaining IT hardware and software solutions.

    + Current DoD 8140 – IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)

    _Desired:_

    + Familiarity with IC ITE services and classified environments

    + Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM systems

    + ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

    Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $90,300-$189,600
