Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist (Scheduler) to work for our PMCM group in New Jersey. This position will be based onsite 5 days per week at Newark Airport.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Develop and manage CPM schedules using Primavera P6 software.
+ Establish program baseline schedule for multiple projects with interrelationships.
+ Develop monthly CPM schedule updates, conduct schedule analysis, and compose associated reports.
+ Identify, assess, and report schedule risks, opportunities for potential schedule mitigations, schedule variances and the causes of such variances.
+ Participate in logistical, delivery, and workforce planning with project personnel and incorporate findings into the schedule.
+ Review and comment on contractor-prepared baseline, updates, and recovery schedules.
+ Monitor and track contractor/client progress and performance against the schedule, and report changes to status of milestones.
+ Conduct schedule review meetings and provide status updates to project stakeholders.
+ Attend all project progress meetings and all schedule related meetings.
+ Perform Time Impact Analyses (TIA) to assess delays, support change management processes, and claims resolution.
+ Maintain effective liaison with the client and external consultants throughout all project phases.
+ Identify and suggest improvements to scheduling procedures, templates, and tools.
+ Collaborate with other scheduling team members to ensure schedule deliverables are synchronized and consistent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline with 5+ years of construction scheduling experience, preferably on civil infrastructure or transportation projects.
+ Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required.
+ Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling and delay analysis.
+ Experience with agencies such as MTA, NYCT, Amtrak, Port Authority, or similar transportation entities preferred.
+ Familiarity with schedule change management and time impact assessments.
+ Certifications with PMI or AACEI is also preferable.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills required.
+ Proficiency with MS Office programs required.

Additional Information
TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $117,300- $155,000 annually for this position and local market.
