Kelly, in partnership with a growing chemical distributor, is looking for a Maintenance Technician in Petersburg, VA.

This is a direct hire opportunity meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their vacation time, benefits and compensation upon hire.

Details:

+ Hours: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Friday

+ Salary: $31 - $34 per hour, potentially higher based on experience

+ Location: Petersburg, VA

Job Description:

+ Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment, systems, and machinery.

+ Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, recommending and implementing solutions to repair faulty equipment.

+ Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and ensure seamless manufacturing processes.

+ Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

+ Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.

+ Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures in all maintenance activities.

+ Participate in training and development programs to stay informed about the latest technologies and maintenance practices.

Requirements:

+ 1+ years of experience as a Machine Maintenance Technician

+ Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role in a chemical environment
