Position Overview

The Receiving Inspector is responsible to the Supervisor Inspection. Inspect both incoming and outgoing material for quality and conformance to specifications and/or other applicable requirements.

+ Monitor daily deliveries, accept or reject shipments that are not received in satisfactory condition.

+ Separate delivered items by priority and/or department.

+ Open, inspect, check condition, correct documentation and quality of each item and verify items are in accordance with the requirements of the purchase order.

+ Reject and identify all decrepit items, annotate this information in computer system and place item in bond.

+ Receive all items, which are acceptable into the computer system.

+ Monitor outgoing shipments for proper documentation and packing.

+ Perform other duties as assigned by the Inspection Supervisor.

What you need: (Requirements)

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Five (5) or more years of experience as a technician and/or inspector in a commercial aircraft environment, or previous demonstrated ability with HAECO. Up to four years Military Aviation may be applied if experience was on transport category type aircraft

+ A&P or Repairman Certificate with Parts Inspection Limitation

+ Must have basic knowledge of computer systems.

+ Must have working knowledge of aircraft documentation.

+ Read, write and understand the English language.

+ May be exposed to inclement weather.

+ Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand for prolonged periods of time, climbs steps and/or service stands.

+ Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds unassisted.

+ Visual acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected.
