    Job Description

    Job Responsibilities

    + Conduct multiomics studies to identify candidate traits using transcriptomics, epigenomics, and phenomics data

    + Analyze transcriptomic and epigenomic data, including mouse morphology, physiology, and growth characteristics of embryos, to identify genes and traits that can be targeted for future clinical therapies

    + Develop and manage databases to store and organize multiomics data

    + Develop and implement data visualization tools to communicate results to stakeholders

    + Collaborate with other members of the research team to integrate genomics and phenomics data and develop new approaches for improving the Developmental Origins of Health and Diseases

    + Prepare scientific manuscripts and present research findings at scientific conferences and meetings

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Required Education and Experience:

    Ph.D. in Genetics, Animal Science, or closely related discipline.

    Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    + Demonstrated track record of scientific publications.

    + Ability to multi task and work cooperatively with others

    Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities:

    + Strong background in genomics, genetics, and statistical analyses.

    + Experience with transcriptomic and epigenomic data analysis.

    + Proficiency in programming languages, such as R and Python, for data analysis and visualization.
