Key Responsibilities
+ Be a thought leader and development expert in cloud technology and AIOps encompassing design, testing, validation, deployment and ongoing monitoring of production grade data platform and AI cloud infrastructure solutions.
+ Collaborate with Divisional Stakeholders, Business Analysts, BI developers and Solution Designers to engineer data and AI requirements into effective solutions.
+ Design, develop and maintain data pipelines to support ETL processes and data warehouse integrations to power business decision making.
+ Design and build data models to support reusable business solutions..
+ Drive ongoing process improvement across the Data & Analytics team.
+ How data sets are ingested, curated and modelled to meet specific business use case requirements and broader reusability for enterprise use.
+ What technology tooling is the best fit for the problems we are trying to solve – must be adapt at rapid prototyping, trade-off analysis and conveying complex technical solutions into business-friendly language.
About you
+ Tertiary qualification in a relevant Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or area of study related to computer/data sciences and data mining or relevant experience.
+ 5+ years’ experience in designing, creating, supporting and monitoring data pipelines in AWS data engineering technology stack.
+ Experience and passion for designing and building AI solutions on AWS.
+ Proficient in data technologies GitHub, dbt, SQL, Python, airflow.
+ Experience in ETL, dimensional modelling, data warehouse design.
+ Experience with ingesting data from REST and GraphQL APIs.
+ Experience in data operations and data solution lifecycle management.
+ Willingness to continue to learn and develop both data engineering, AIOps and adjacent skill sets.
+ Pragmatic approach to achieving outcomes.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $130,000-139,000 per year and other benefits. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of our Napa location. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
