Resideo is currently seeking a Sr Engineering Technician.

JOB DUTIES:

+ Perform soldering, PCB rework, and hardware assembly.

+ Program devices according to provided operation guides and instructions.

+ Conduct basic testing and data collection using multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power analyzers, OTA chambers, and other lab instruments.

+ Prepare materials and manage parts inventory for prototyping.

+ Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for prototype manufacturing and assembly support

YOU MUST HAVE:

+ 3+ years' experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field

+ Professional experience with soldering and strong PCB rework skills

+ Hands-on experience with basic electronic test equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply)

WE VALUE:

+ Experience operating advanced lab equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzer, OTA chamber, power analyzer, data logger)

+ Ability to follow detailed instructions and complete assigned tasks accurately

+ Good attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Hands-on experience with firmware flashing tools and processes

+ Experience coordinating prototype builds with external vendors

+ Practical experience in hardware bring-up and basic troubleshooting
