    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring a Google Kubernetes Engine Microservices Developer for one of our large retail clients. This person will be joining the Global Inventory and Sourcing Team, supporting the website specifically within the shipping domain. The developer will be following an agile framework, participating in sprints and grooming's. This person will be responsible for developing the understanding of the microservices environment and supporting changes within Springboot and GCP. 50% of their work will be within development and the remaining 50% will be in production support analyzing errors and bugs. They will work cross functionally with the support team.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    6+ years of experience in a backend developer role

     

    Google Kubernetes

     

    Google Cloud Platform

     

    Java, Spring boot, Microservices

     

    Shift Left Environment - Including Unit testing and End to End Testing within testing frameworks like Cucumber, JUnit, or JBehave Retail/Ecommerce experience null
