Truck Driver (1st Shift starting at $20.10/hour)

Primary Function

The Truck Driver will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks with finished goods and/or raw materials and delivering them to our production plant from our warehouse (less than 10 miles).

Responsibilities

+ Responsible for loading and unloading box truck, using a forklift or manual pallet jack

+ Pick up finished goods at the manufacturing plant and deliver to the warehouse

+ Pick up raw material at the warehouse and deliver to the manufacturing plant (ten miles roundtrip)

+ Possibility for light assembly production work while waiting for load to be ready

+ Other duties may be assigned as needed

Regularly Scheduled Hours:1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm, overtime as required

Qualifications

+ Valid Ohio Driver's License with a clean driving record

+ Experience driving a straight box truck (26 feet)

+ Must be willing to work overtime as needed

+ Employee must have good job performance and attendance.

+ Basic computer knowledge, including SAP.

+ Must be a self-starter, well organized, able to work both independently and as a team member, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

+ Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.

+ The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and with assistance
