Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our client's team on a contract basis in Kettering, Ohio. In this role, you will support essential accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and reconciliation tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills and proficiency with relevant software tools to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations. Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and payment scheduling.

• Handle accounts receivable tasks such as payment tracking and customer account updates.

• Process billing activities, ensuring timely and precise invoicing.

• Enter financial data into systems with a high degree of accuracy.

• Utilize OnBase and OnBase Workflow software for document management and workflow automation.

• Prepare financial reports and summaries using Microsoft Excel.

• Collaborate with team members to support overall accounting operations.

• Assist with audit preparation and provide documentation as needed.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong skills in billing and data entry with attention to detail.

• Familiarity with invoice processing and workflow management tools such as OnBase.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
