Description We are looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will focus on managing overdue accounts and ensuring timely payments from business-to-business (B2B) clients. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in commercial collections while helping streamline our operational processes.

Responsibilities:

• Contact B2B clients to follow up on overdue invoices and payments.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of collection activities in company systems.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies related to billing or payments.

• Develop and implement effective strategies to reduce outstanding balances.

• Communicate professionally with clients to negotiate payment plans or settlements.

• Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate action.

• Provide regular updates to management about collection progress and challenges.

• Utilize software tools to track and document collection efforts efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.

• Support the team in catching up on overdue accounts and meeting collection targets. Requirements • Proven experience in commercial collections, particularly with B2B accounts.

• Strong understanding of billing and payment processes.

• Proficiency in using collection software and maintaining detailed records.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work independently and handle challenging conversations professionally.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

• Familiarity with financial regulations related to collections.

• Availability to work on-site during standard business hours.
