Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking **_Staff Engineer_** to join our team in **Grand Rapids or Plymouth, MI** . The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with a Project Manager and team, and drive the design of various Civil/Site Development projects. Quick thinking and exceptional problem-solving skills are essential. ​

Responsibilities:

+ Assist Project Managers with technical, and civil engineering design or provide Project Management

+ Perform technical engineering work associated with land development and/or water resources:

+ Stormwater management design

+ Site grading

+ Erosion and sediment control design

+ Prepare plans for agency/municipal review

+ Completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications

+ Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors

+ Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated, and willing to put the full effort towards the task at hand

+ Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer or technical designer

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required

+ E1 Certification preferred

+ 0-4 years related work experience

+ Understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D

Salary Range

$60,000 to $70,000
