Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will play a key part in managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely posting of payments. Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain comprehensive and organized financial records to support audits and reporting.

• Post payments and receipts promptly while ensuring proper documentation.

• Handle cash transactions securely and in accordance with company policies.

• Reconcile account discrepancies and resolve issues as they arise.

• Assist in bookkeeping tasks, including ledger management and account balancing.

• Monitor financial data to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Prepare reports detailing financial activities and performance.

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes.

• Provide support during financial audits and reviews.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable or a related role.

• Knowledge of full-charge bookkeeping practices.

• Experience handling cash transactions and reconciliations.

• Familiarity with posting payments and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
