    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will focus on delivering exceptional tax services to a diverse range of clients, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. You will also play a key role in mentoring entry-level staff while staying updated on the latest tax regulations and providing strategic guidance to clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for various entities, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.

    • Conduct in-depth tax research to address complex issues and provide technical expertise.

    • Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring timely delivery of services and compliance with deadlines.

    • Communicate directly with clients to provide tailored tax planning and consulting solutions.

    • Supervise and mentor entry-level staff, offering constructive feedback and development support.

    • Assist clients with tax projections and year-end planning to optimize their financial strategies.

    • Stay informed on changes in tax laws and regulations, advising clients on how these updates may impact them.

    • Collaborate with partners and managers on business development initiatives to expand client relationships.

    Requirements

    • Bachelors in Accounting, CPA Preferred

    • Extensive experience in preparing and reviewing corporate income tax returns.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    • Excellent communication skills for effectively engaging with clients and team members.

    • Leadership experience in supervising and mentoring less experienced staff.

    • Proficiency in conducting tax research and presenting technical findings.
