Description
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead our client's Accounting Department. This role will oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, support financial reporting and analysis, and collaborate closely with management on budgeting, payroll, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and manage the Accounting Department team
+ Oversee weekly payroll processing and collaborate with the General Manager on production bonuses
+ Supervise the preparation of weekly dashboard and KPI reports
+ Manage daily invoice billing, client communications, and collections
+ Oversee accounts payable: verify, post, and reconcile vendor invoices
+ Execute weekly check runs and monitor credit card transactions and reconciliations
+ Monitor daily bank activity and manage incoming/outgoing ACH transactions
+ Reconcile monthly bank statements
+ Lead the month-end and year-end close process
+ Prepare monthly financial statements and present performance updates to the President
+ Generate reports to support Operations and Sales using Service Auto Pilot
+ Review client contracts and agreements prior to executive approval
+ Conduct job cost analyses to support pricing adjustments and proposals
+ Coordinate with external tax accountants on annual tax filings
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
+ 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities
+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
+ Experience with payroll, invoicing, and general ledger management
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
+ Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
