    Job Description

    The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring patient care is coordinated and managed appropriately as well as the supervision of clinical personnel.

     

    + You will review and evaluate each case through a variety of means such as home visits, conferences, record review and the services provided by clinicians; discuss and verify impressions, instructs and guides clinicians to promote more effective performance and delivery of quality home care services; is available at all times during operating hours to assist clinicians as appropriate.

    + You will attend case conference meetings with hospice personnel to facilitate coordination of care and discussion of interdisciplinary group involvement and conduct quarterly record reviews and communicate findings and recommendations to Clinical Director and hospice personnel.

    + You will assist in screening and interviewing and assist Director and other supervisory hospice personnel in orientation of new employees.

    + Travel throughout the day and sometimes after-hours

    Qualifications

    + Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state.

    + Graduate of NLN accredited school of nursing with a BSN degree is preferred.

    + Previous experience in hospice/home care setting and with two (2) years management or supervisory experience. Proven ability to work within an interdisciplinary setting.

    + Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.

    + Has excellent observation, good nursing judgment and communication skills. Understands hospice philosophy and issues of death/dying.

    + Understands principles of pain/symptom management.

    + Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements and is in good working order.

    + Complies and maintains current CPR certification.

    + Demonstrates excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills.

     

    The starting salary range for this role is$76,000-$110,000 annual base salary. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: geographic location, relevant education, applicable certifications, depth of experience, and special skillsets. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical/dental/vision/pet insurance, disability and life insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation.
