Senior Application Support Engineer (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Application Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for technology. This role involves supporting enterprise applications across production and non-production environments, troubleshooting issues in real-time, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including offshore counterparts.

Responsibilities

+ Investigate and troubleshoot production issues with real-time monitoring and debugging.

+ Identify problematic code and dependencies to accelerate issue resolution.

+ Support application platforms in both production and non-production environments.

+ Participate in regular application release processes and off-hours on-call support.

+ Collaborate with development teams to manage and resolve support issues.

+ Create and maintain team-specific knowledge bases and documentation.

+ Perform minor code fixes and coordinate with development teams for resolution.

+ Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.

+ Minimum 6 years of experience in IT or software support roles.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to become an SME.

+ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

+ Proficiency in JAVA/J2EE, Spring, PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

+ Experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST), Messaging, and Cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

+ Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GIT), DevOps practices, and monitoring tools.

+ Operating system knowledge: Unix/Linux, Windows.

+ Database experience: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.

+ Tools: Eclipse, SQL Developer; Python, Node.js, React (nice to have).
