We’re currently hiring for an **Experienced CNC Programmer** at a respected manufacturer in Portsmouth, VA. If you take pride in programming precision parts and solving real-world machining problems, this role could be a great fit.

    IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU MEET ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MUST-HAVES:

    + **U.S. Citizenship (required for DoD facility access)**

    + **At least 3 years of CNC programming experience**

    + **Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic**

    + **Ability to read and interpret blueprints, solid models, and G/M codes**

    What You'll Do:

    + Write and troubleshoot CNC programs for complex parts

    + Work with Mastercam, G&M codes, and multiple machine types (milling, turning, EDM)

    + Support machine setup and program prove-outs

    + Ensure precision using gauges and measuring tools

    + Track jobs using JobBOSS and follow safety procedures

    + Communicate clearly with shop staff and engineering

    What You Bring:

    + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

    + Familiarity with large part machining is a plus

    + Experience with in-place machining, forklift/crane use a bonus

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and solid models. Strong communication skills in English as well as basic mathematical skills

    Compensation & Benefits:

    + **$30-$38/hour + ample OT**
