What we need
The Consultant position in the Business Consulting Group (BCG) reports to the Director, BCG in the Office of the CEO division. BCG is an internal companywide management consulting resource dedicated to partnering with leaders to achieve the company’s critical business priorities.
Your Day to Day
Collaborate with BCG project leads to assist with the scoping, planning, and execution of assigned consulting engagements Gather information relevant for assigned projects, including gathering quantitative and qualitative analyses, incorporating market and industry research, and identifying project-specific impact metrics, as appropriate Conduct and synthesize interviews and engage in other research methods to gather information relevant to assigned projects Facilitate meetings and small workgroups to drive decision making Complete assigned project activities with minimal supervision Develop project related deliverables with limited to no supervision, including PowerPoint presentations, project plans/timelines, process workflow diagrams, interview guides, meeting facilitation plans, meeting minutes, status reports, and issue/risk logs Present updates, findings, and recommendations virtually and in-person to internal project sponsors and other leaders and associates at all levels of the organization as needed for assigned projects Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with leaders across the organization Actively contribute to BCG and Office of CEO division staff development and internal departmental process improvement

We’re Looking for:
+ Strong understanding of business process analysis and improvement, project management, and change management approaches and principles along with demonstrated project management skills and/or consulting skills
+ Ability to deal effectively with ambiguous situations
+ Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to deliver presentations to a wide variety of audiences
+ Results oriented with a high degree of initiative along with ability to act as a team player
+ Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects and assignments
+ High degree of professionalism and confidence along with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization
+ Strong PC skills (e.g., MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio) and familiarity with data analysis tools and video conferencing technology (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom)
+ Ability to research, analyze, and incorporate healthcare industry strategy to solving business challenges
+ Must have ability to travel to BCBSMA sites for in-person meetings
What You Bring:
+ BS/BA degree required. Master of Business Administration or other advanced degree preferred
+ 5+ years of relevant business experience, including demonstrated experience in a consulting and/or project management role
What You’ll Gain:
+ This is a high-profile position in which you will have visibility into all levels of the organization and corporate strategy.
+ Experience partnering with a BCG project lead to provide a wide range of general management consulting services. This may include participating in multiple cross-functional projects designed to improve operational effectiveness through process analysis, workflow redesign, and/or functional assessment.
+ You may also gain experience assuming a lead role in smaller, less complex projects.

Salary Range: $89,910.00 - $109,890.00
The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
This job is also eligible for variable pay.
