Who we’re looking for
We’re seeking a hands-on **Senior Software Engineer** with deep expertise in **NICE CXone** contact center technologies and software development. Ideal candidates are hands-on, technically well versed in CCaaS technologies and passionately lead the complex CX omnichannel digital transformation projects in both client-facing and collaborative engineering environments.
What you’ll be doing
+ Serve as a strategic thought leader in CX transformation and omnichannel technology, driving innovation and best practices across the organization.
+ Define and uphold high technical standards for development and operations, including coding practices, architecture, and deployment processes.
+ Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable NICE CXone solutions, including ACD, IVR, Auto Dialer, Omnichannel, Studio, Interaction Analytics, WFM, CRM integrations, LiveVox dialer, Medallia surveys, and Auto Attendant.
+ Develop and maintain custom scripts and integrations using NICE CXone Studio.
+ Design, build, and troubleshoot API-based integrations and web services.
+ Leverage programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, and Python to enhance and extend NICE CXone capabilities.
+ Conduct unit and system testing to ensure platform performance, scalability, and reliability.
+ Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
+ Present technical strategies, solution architectures, and demos to executive stakeholders.
+ Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in contact center solutions.
+ Lead business analysis and process optimization initiatives within contact center environments.
+ Oversee code reviews, defect resolution, and delivery using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
+ Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
+ Mentor team members, support recruitment efforts, and promote Agile best practices across the team.
What You Bring
+ 7+ years of hands-on experience with the NICE CXone suite, including implementation, reporting, dashboards, and workflow design.
+ Deep expertise in CXone Studio scripting and advanced contact routing.
+ 7+ years of software development experience using JavaScript, Java, or C#.
+ Strong understanding of contact center KPIs, workforce optimization, AI/IVR integrations, and quality management tools.
+ Proficiency in REST APIs and web service integrations.
+ Solid database knowledge, preferably with AWS Postgres.
+ Strong grasp of CCaaS architecture and network infrastructure.
Added Bonus
+ Bachelor’s in computer science, IT, or Engineering (preferred)
+ Prior work with digital transformation or process automation tools
+ Certifications in NICE CXone or process automation tools
+ 3+ years of structured Software Development experience using Spring / Spring Boot
+ Prior knowledge of implementing AI/AL features in an enterprise environment.
