    Client Service Representative – Full-Time

    VCA Schaumburg Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time **Client Service Representative** to join our team!

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Provide outstanding customer service by warmly greeting clients and their pets

    + Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and confirm visits

    + Place follow-up calls and connect with prospective clients

    + Present and process fees and payments accurately

    + Educate clients on non-medical pet care, including nutrition, flea/tick prevention, and more

    + Recommend and assist with obtaining products, prescriptions, and services

    + Maintain accurate medical records and manage incoming/outgoing correspondence

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Minimum one year of customer service experience (veterinary or medical office experience is a plus)

    + High School Diploma or GED required

    + Strong communication and active listening skills

    + Compassion for both pets and their people

    + Ability to make sound decisions and adapt quickly to new information

    + Comfortable with Microsoft Office and general computer use

    + Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

    + Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. and handling exposure to pet-related hazards (allergens, waste, etc.)
