    This position is for a full-time, 12-month, unclassified, staff position.

     

    Salary commensurate with credentials and experience.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree required.

    + Four (4) years of work experience in customer service with one (1) year in an office environment.

    + Ability to multi-task and coordinate several detail-oriented projects.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.

    + Excellent interpersonal, organization, written, and spoken community skills needed with the ability to make small group presentations as well as remarkable skill in interacting with students on a one-on-one basis

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    + Must have use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear and handle or feel objects and controls.

    + Must have physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.

    + Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 10 pounds.

    + Must be capable of sitting in stationary position for 50% or more of time.

    Job Specification

     

    This position provides administrative support to the Enrollment Management and Student Services division. This role includes guiding students and their families through all aspects of the enrollment process. The Coordinator also serves as the primary point of contact for student conduct related issues

     

    Job Duties and Other Information

     

    + Responsible for facilitating an exceptional customer service experience to prospective students and their parents ensuring consistency with institution, state and federal policies and procedures.

    + Independently deal with diverse and at times hostile situations. Evaluates and resolves student inquiries, issues, and problems, ensuring appropriate action is taken to the satisfaction of the student and College policies and procedures while ensuring confidentiality.

    + Relieve administrator of minor administrative matters in coordinating activities of the Enrollment Management and Student Services Division.

    + Serve as primary contact on student conduct related issues.

    + Utilize the student conduct database system to create and maintain student conduct files and assist in managing technology needs and websites.

    + Prepare and assist with the analyzation of student conduct statistical reports.

    + Manage the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management and Student Services budget and coordinate submission and completion of all budgets within the Division.

    + Prepare, disseminate, and coordinate professional correspondence for the administrator informing divisional staff members of administrative decisions and matters of policy.

    + Coordinate and review annual updates of the Division Manual and the Policies and Procedures Manual.

    + Coordinate and maintain an electronic database and confidential log of student issues.

    + Provide follow-up communication to students served by the Office of the Vice Chancellor.

    + Coordinate usage of F203 for College events.

    + Interact daily with students, faculty, staff, and the public by phone, chat, and email on sensitive matters.

    + Organize and maintain a daily schedule of appointments and meetings.

    + Attend staff meetings, prepare minutes, and assist with follow up on specific assignments.

    + Assist with completion of special projects (such as preparation of reports, budget development).

    + Guide students through enrollment processes ensuring that accurate information is provided.

    + Assist with enrollment and student life, as needed.

    + Maintain inventory and purchase supplies as needed.

    + Develop reports as appropriate to job duties.

    + Work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete duties on a weekly basis and may include extended work hours during peak times.

    + Assist with or perform special projects as assigned.
