Minimum Qualifications
Eight years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus five years of experience in administrative services; OR
A bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in administrative services; OR
An advanced degree plus four years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Below are brief examples of the common job duties.
+ Research, develop, draft, disseminate, update, and manage statewide LDH General Safety, Health, and Loss Prevention Program Policy and Procedures and LDH agencies compliance.
+ Develop and manages written safety and health policies and procedures taking into account national trends and federal and state laws. These statewide written safety and health policies and procedures include:
+ LDH Threat Management Plan;
+ LDH Safety Rules;
+ LDH Blood Borne Pathogens Policy;
+ LDH State Vehicle Policy and Driver Safety Program;
+ LDH Bonds Crimes and Loss Control Policy, and
+ LDH Water Vessel Operator Safety Policy.
Incumbent is responsible to review and approve/deny LDH agencies site-specific safety and security plans, key plans, and emergency preparedness operations plans to ensure they comply with State, Federal, and Departmental rules and/or regulations.
