Job Title: General Production Worker

Pay: $17/hour

Shift: 1st

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a General Production Worker on the 1st shift, where you will play a vital role in assembling polymer insulators on the production line. No prior experience is necessary for basic crimping tasks as training will be provided. Heavy lifting is required in most roles, offering an opportunity to develop your skills in different areas through cross-training.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble polymer insulators on the production line with precision and efficiency.

+ Perform basic crimping tasks; training provided.

+ Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively; prior experience preferred.

+ Engage in cross-training to learn and perform various roles in the production process.

+ Manage and operate molding machines to produce high-quality polymer insulators.

+ Perform packaging and assembly tasks, ensuring products are packed and assembled according to standards.

+ Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet required specifications.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general production, assembly, or mechanical aptitude.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools or power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Flexibility to work in different positions as a floater on the production line.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
