Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Guard to protect property against damage, fire, theft, and unauthorized entry. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of the premises through regular rounds and inspections, enforcing regulations, and responding to emergencies with professionalism and efficiency.
Responsibilities
+ Guard property against damage, fire, theft, and illegal or unauthorized entry.
+ Conduct periodic rounds of buildings and grounds to ensure doors, windows, and gates are properly secured.
+ Enforce regulations and ensure observance of applicable laws.
+ Warn or evict individuals in case of infractions.
+ Interview guests and employees to detect infringements and investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, and accidents.
+ Report irregularities to management.
+ Provide assistance for accident victims and handle emergencies.
+ Lift and move equipment or a person, or pursue and apprehend individuals as necessary.
+ Assist management and law enforcement officials in emergency situations and investigations.
+ Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
+ Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
+ Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
+ Participate in regular safety meetings, training, and hazard assessments.
+ Apply OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.
+ Perform work in accordance with established safety procedures.
+ Attend designated training programs.
+ Perform responsibilities of Senior Security Officer in their absence.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
+ 0 to 2 years of related experience.
+ Private security or public police experience preferred.
+ Driver's License required.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract-to-Hire position based out of Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
