Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment within the plant. The role involves a significant amount of greasing and performing preventive maintenance on bearings, conveyors, and rollers. You will also be responsible for electrical troubleshooting and repair when applicable. This position includes an 8,000-hour company-funded Department of Labor Maintenance Mechanic apprenticeship program.

Pay

$29-$34 based on experience.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.

+ Conduct reactive maintenance as needed.

+ Grease bearings, conveyors, and rollers.

+ Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair if applicable.

+ Participate in the breakdown and teardown of lines during the upgrade process.

+ Work in a hot, loud, dirty, and dusty environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in industrial maintenance preferred.

+ Ability to read a tape measure.

+ Willingness to learn and participate in the apprenticeship program.

+ Presentation and communication skills.

+ Courses or classes related to maintenance are beneficial.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $61256.00 - $72571.00/yr.
