    Job Title: Parts Cleaner

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Parts Cleaner to join our team. This role involves working in a physically demanding and hands-on environment, primarily within the disassembly shop, with opportunities for cross-training in the assembly department.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform steaming, sandblasting, and some painting tasks.

    + Engage in industrial cleaning, focusing on parts cleaning and sandblasting.

    + Disassemble pumps and prepare parts for further processing.

    + Maintain cleanliness and order in the workspace.

    + Adhere to all safety protocols, including respirator fit testing, conducted on-site.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in industrial cleaning, sandblasting, and general labor.

    + Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

    + Reliable with a strong work ethic.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Janitorial or custodial maintenance experience is preferred.

    + Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset.

    + Must have reliable and consistent transportation.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in climate-controlled areas of an industrial machine shop environment. The position is available on the 1st shift, from 6 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. The facility is equipped with the most modern and technically advanced equipment available.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesapeake, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $23.00/hr.
