Job Title: Director of Extinguisher Sales

This job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment with a focus on sales of new fire extinguishers and service work in existing and new accounts . It also requires travel to branch office locations, jobsites and customer facilities

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

+ Responsible for overseeing the entire sales operations of the extinguisher department within the organization.

+ Working with the operations team to ensure sold work can be executed

+ Identify opportunities for department growth to improve efficiency and implement new strategies.

+ A drive to sell and grow the extinguisher business.

+ Work with the extinguisher field supervisors to guide management techniques.

+ Ensure all fire extinguisher systems sold meet local, state and national regulations including NFPA standards.

+ Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to conduct job site visits.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director of Extinguisher Sales is responsible for overseeing the extinguisher sales department in the organization.

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. + High school diploma or GED is required.

+ Bachelor’s Degree Business or related field is a plus.

+ 7+ years’ fire protection experience, specifically extinguishers, is required.

+ 5+ years of business-to-business sales is required.

+ Knowledge of NFPA guidelines is required.

+ Experience of managing a team is required.

+ Ability to travel is required.

Computer Skills:

+ Computer Skills: Significant experience with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
