Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Overpayment Resolution Analyst - Patient Financial Services is responsible for investigating, analyzing, and resolving all charges, credits, and/or overpayments on assigned accounts. This individual will have a high degree of professionalism and accuracy regarding written and verbal communication between internal and external customers is expected. The Overpayment Resolution Analyst- Patient Financial Services accurately determines what steps are required for resolving or if monies are needing to be returned and decides appropriate method to return funds based on payer or patient. This individual responds to unique cases in which clear policy and procedures are not always established.

This Overpayment Resolution Analyst, Patient Financial Services is open to Local Remote work within MCHS service area in Wisconsin and Michigan.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

_For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._

EXPERIENCE

**Minimum Required:** Two years’ experience in medical business office, health care setting or comparable experience required. Related mathematical and customer service work.
