    Description:

    We're looking for two skilled Senior Data Engineers to join a high-impact project migrating workloads from a Hadoop On-Prem cluster to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

     

    _We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

     

    _Rate: $65 - $75 / hr. w2_

    Responsibilities:

    + Build Spark/BigQuery data pipelines on GCP Dataproc

    + Design data models and schemas to meet business needs

    + Implement automated data quality checks

    + Optimize performance & ensure SLA compliance

    + Collaborate across a global team (U.S. + India)

    Experience Requirements:

    Top Requirements:

    + 1+ year GCP / BigQuery experience

    + 3+ years Python or Scala

    + 3+ years strong SQL skills

    + Bonus Points For:

    + Experience building semantic layers in LookML

    + GCP Certification

    + Master’s degree in a related field
