Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and driven Digital Employee Communications and Content Specialist to join our team. This role is critical to fostering a culture of engagement, collaboration, and connection across our organization. Storytelling is a foundational competency for our Digital Employee Communications and Content Specialist, particularly in the context of informing and inspiring our employees. Effective storytelling has the power to inspire, inform, and foster a sense of belonging across the Inc. business.
This person should excel at turning complex ideas, achievements, and corporate milestones into powerful, relatable narratives that resonate with employees. Whether communicating success stories, innovating through change, or celebrating individual contributions, this communicator will use storytelling to bring abstract concepts to life. They must also be able to structure content with a clear beginning, middle, and end ensuring messages are engaging, and memorable.
Uncovering authentic stories in a complex, multi-layered enterprise will require more than just creativity from the selected candidateit demands strategic thinking and collaboration. This person will be responsible for foraging stories by actively seeking opportunities in everyday employee experiences, team achievements, company engagement events, and leadership initiatives. By showcasing a wide range of employee experiences, they help cultivate an inclusive workplace culture where every individual feels seen and valued.

Key Responsibilities
+ **Develop impactful content** for internal communication campaigns, including announcements, newsletters, leadership updates, and employee stories that align with organizational goals and values.
+ **Manage digital communication platforms** , including intranets, email, and collaboration tools, ensuring functionality, usability, and responsiveness.
+ **Foster connections among employees** by creating campaigns and initiatives that promote collaboration, celebrate achievements, and support a strong sense of community.
+ **Act as a trusted partner** to leadership and departmental teams, providing guidance on internal messaging and ensuring consistency with the company s voice and brand values.
+ **Analyze and measure the effectiveness** of communication efforts through data and employee feedback, using insights to adjust strategies and improve outcomes.
+ Stay ahead of communication trends, tools, and best practices, bringing forward-thinking ideas to enhance employee engagement strategies.
+ Support crisis communications and sensitive messaging with clarity and professionalism, reinforcing trust within the employee community.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ **Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered 8 years of experience**
+ **3-5 years of experience in internal communications, content creation, or a related role, preferably within a medium to large organization.**
+ Proven expertise in managing digital communication platforms, including intranets, collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint), and other digital applications.
+ Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
+ Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
+ Experience measuring the success of communication initiatives and utilizing data to drive informed decisions.
+ Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across teams and geographies.
+ Knowledge of best practices in employee engagement and familiarity with digital communication trends
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Familiarity with AP style and a passion for clear, consistent communications
+ Familiarity with project management and work flow tools such as SmartSheet, PowerApprove, or similar tools
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $116419 - $197912
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
