    Sensata Technologies is looking for a Regional Sales Manager in our Southwestern U.S. region to lead growth with a wide range of customers in one of our strongest business units in the company - the Industrial Solutions business. The primary responsibility is to develop and win new business opportunities for mission-critical, sensor-rich solutions that help our customers safely deliver a cleaner, more efficient, electrified, and connected world. Our customers include the market leading OEMs and world’s most recognizable brands in the HVAC, medical device, oil & gas, factory automation, and diversified industrial markets. The Regional Sales Manager will lead business development for Key Accounts and also partner with a network of professional sales representatives and authorized distribution partners to develop new business and provide exceptional support for customers within the region to achieve strong, long-term revenues.

    # General Responsibilities

    + Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory/product line.

    + Pursue sales leads

    + Lead in visits to existing and new customers

    + Analyze customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services

    + Respond to customer enquiries; and conclude sales orders to meet established revenue targets

    + Innovates and creates sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers

    + Perform supplier audits on site at distributor warehouse locations

    + Identify and implement efficiency opportunities such as distributor dashboards, etc.

    + Initiate regular communication with distributors to mitigate shipment errors and discrepancies

    # Experience / Qualifications

    + A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience

    + Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

    + Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation

    + Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

    + Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity

    + Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

    + Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

    + Key participant in new account development and/or expanding existing key accounts within an established geographic territory/product line.

    + Builds relationships at various levels in customers organization

    + Analyze customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services

    + Respond to customer enquiries; and conclude sales orders to meet established revenue targets

    + Collaborates on sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers

    # Base Salary Range:

    $97,100.00 - $133,430.00
