Job Information

The Warehouse Manager is critical to the business's success. As the Warehouse Manager you will maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution for a multi-site, multi-shift warehouse operation by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. You will be responsible for complying with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management.

Role & Responsibility

+ Ensure efficient daily operations of a multi-site, multi-shift warehouse operations; prepare schedules

+ Manage warehouse supervisors, build warehouse leaders and provide training and coaching to improve performance

+ Monitor work quality to consistently deliver exceptional customer service

+ Demonstrate an understanding and align with the quality policy

+ Always adhere to the 6S program and maintain a clean environment

+ Communicate well with leadership, team members and other departments

+ Implement continuous improvement action plans

Job Requirement

+ Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

+ 7+ years’ experience in logistics, warehousing or related with supervisory and people development responsibility.

+ Requires the ability to think strategically about how to improve the business warehousing operations and manage the tactical steps necessary to execute the plan.

+ Ability to drive productivity & operational excellence.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

+ Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

+ Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics experience

+ Demonstrated ability to support, follow and communicate company safety guidelines and programs

+ Strong communication and decision-making skills.

+ Physical requirements:

+ Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights

+ Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time

+ Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel

+ Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
