**JOB TITLE:** Operations Floor Lead

Responsibilities

+ Assist Team Lead prior to shift start to develop a plan for staffing all required lines

+ At shift start ability to organize all lines with required number of team members

+ Ensure all lines have proper labels and documentation for their orders

+ Complete Production Job Start-up Verification form on all lines

+ Wear all required safety PPE

+ Monitor all team’s performance in Safety, Quality, and Throughput and make changes as necessary

+ Perform quality checks throughout the shift

+ Ability to coach and develop team members

+ Build production samples for engineering sign off as needed.

+ Assist with production line set-up as needed

+ Monitor housekeeping and perform audits at least weekly

+ Ensure the teams are processing orders properly, handle returns and rejected materials correctly

+ Ensure all lines are left in good condition at shift end

+ Address basic issues on the production floor and escalate as necessary

+ Communicate all issues to Team Lead, Supervisor, or staffing agency representative in a timely manner

Requirements

+ HS Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.

+ Team oriented

+ Ability to read, write and perform basic math skills with strong attention to detail including speed and accuracy in counting and verification.

+ Strong communication both written and verbal

+ Ability to work overtime as needed.

Essential Functions

+ Occasional lifting and moving material or objects that are average weight continuously and heavy weight material or objects frequently

+ Move light weight objects or material overhead occasionally

+ Bend, stretch, and reach low and high places frequently

+ Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists

+ Ability to perform standing job for 12 consecutive hours

+ Operate computer and other production equipment

+ Ascend/descend ladder
