ABOUT YOU
As a Security & Emergency Preparedness Program Manager, you are a strategic and decisive leader who thrives in high-stakes environments, quickly turning intelligence and risk data into actionable plans. With strong judgment, calm under pressure, and a natural ability to build trust across agencies, you navigate complex security challenges with credibility and clarity. You foster collaboration, embrace innovation, and stay focused on enhancing preparedness, protecting infrastructure, and ensuring effective response across all levels of the organization.
What you will do:
+ Identify and assess emerging threats, lead crisis response efforts, and implement risk mitigation strategies through training, analysis, and collaboration with law enforcement and first responders.
+ Drive strategic security initiatives by conducting research, evaluating intelligence, and recommending policy improvements that strengthen preparedness and resiliency.
+ Lead cross-functional working groups and pilot innovative technologies, ensuring operational integration while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
+ Develop and manage emergency preparedness plans, oversee Authority-wide training programs, and ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal security standards.
WHAT YOU OFFER
+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; completion of National Incident Management System (ICS 100–800) training within 1 year of hire.
+ 10+ years’ experience in project and program management, with proven leadership in security administration, crisis management, and operational center oversight.
+ Deep knowledge of counterterrorism, cyber threats, emergency preparedness, and risk mitigation in the transportation sector, especially aviation and maritime.
+ Strong communication, analytical, and technology skills, including proficiency in MS Office, emergency management software, and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and agencies.
