    The Maintenance LRC (Logistic Readiness Center) Manager under the supervision of the Maintenance Operations Manager. The Maintenance LRC Manager is responsible for daily operations, safety, and personnel management within the Logistic Readiness Center. Ensures coordination and completion of all task and deliverables under the project. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors, and summarizes progress of task area. Oversees and evaluates contracted maintenance capabilities, performance data, and statistical information; makes maintenance and logistics recommendations; and ensures adherence to maintenance policies and regulations. Analyzes organizational structures, responsibilities, teamwork, capabilities, operational procedures, reporting relationships, processes and workflows to devise the most efficient methods of accomplishing work. Performs other related duties as assigned by maintenance leadership

    Responsibilities

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the logistics information systems in use.

    + Provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services as required.

    + Conduct meetings, execute plans, and prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.

    + Reviews schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning repair parts requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering facility limitations and time constraints.

    + Ensures task requirements are met in accordance with PWS for all performance areas.

    + Oversees analysis and investigations to detect adverse quality trends or conditions, and the implementation of corrective actions.

    + Organizes and maintains statistical analysis data of operations including manpower utilization, material cost and usage, work center utilization, and other key contractual performance indicators.

    + Monitors all performance metrics and ensures compliance.

    + Resolves problems concerning customer support, and coordinates responses from all departments.

    + Maintains and develops positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to the operation.

    + Facilitates problem resolution for aspects of the project; develops workable solutions to address potential issues or concerns.

    + Manages timecard approval processing to ensure accuracy.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:

    + General office equipment, computers, fax, printers, web and internet services, server platforms, and other electronic forms of management, collaboration, and data sharing.

    + Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as protective mask, safety vest, steel or composite shoes/boots, safety gloves, hard hat and eyewear in certain areas.

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

    + Work will typically be conducted in a temperature-controlled office environment in a stationary position approximately 75 percent of the time or more with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.

    + Employee may occasionally be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.

    + A normal work week is 40 hours (5 days a week).

    + Must be willing to work additional hours when mission requires.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    + May require lifting up to 50 pounds.

    + Must be able to function in office environment in a stationary position for extended periods of time.

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education/Certifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Army Logistics, Maintenance and Materiel Readiness Operations.

    + Operational experience with Logistics Information Systems, such as Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army), Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC), Army Enterprise Systems Integrations Program (AESIP), DOD Fed Mall and Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS)/FEDLOG.

    + Must have or able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).

    + Must be able to earn the proper certification through the GCSS-Army Training and Certification (GTRAC) System for the Maintenance Business Area within three (3) months of receiving a Common Access Card.

    + Valid Real ID state driver’s license required.

    + Must be able to pass the standard background check.

    + Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

    EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

    + At least five (5) years of military Maintenance Logistics experience at the Battalion or Brigade level or equivalent.

    + Must have at least 10 years of direct supervisory experience.

    + Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize, perform with a high degree of accuracy and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with subordinates, peers and senior personnel, analyze data, conduct meetings, evaluate plans and prepare reports, plans and working instructions.

    + Ability to apply strong problem-solving skills and properly interpret goals and objectives.

    + General familiarity with computer input elements to perform functional activities such as data entry, data verification, transaction preparation and reprocessing of corrections.

    + Advanced familiarization with the operation and maintenance of heavy medium and light wheeled equipment, power generation and ground support equipment.

    + Ability to understand operating procedures, work Instructions, Army regulations, military and commercial technical manuals, and applicable Department of Defense forms.

    + Proficient in GCSS-Army, Microsoft Office applications, and Army Enterprise Portal (AESIP) applications.

    + Ability to manage the day-to-day logistics of multiple geographically disbursed maintenance elements that inspect, service and repair tactical, non-tactical, and commercial equipment.

    + Ability to analyze and interpret U.S. Army Technical Manuals.

    + Capable of dealing with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
