    Job Title: Quality Control Pharmacy Technician

     

    Compensation: $19.00-22.00 Per hour

     

    Employment Type: Full Time, On Site, with Benefits (Medical, Life, Dental, Vision, and 401k)

     

    Available Shifts: Monday-Thursday 11am-7pm and Friday 9am -5pm

    Job Description:

    We are offering an exclusive opportunity for an individual to work in our state-of-the-art sterile compounding pharmacy. Vertisis Custom Pharmacy is one of the most unique compounding pharmacies in the United States. Vertisis offers doctors access to custom compounded, personalized medicine for their patients, delivered directly to their practice or facility. The Vertisis team has over 60 years of experience working in, and managing, pharmacies and medical practices. The Vertisis team creates a harmonious combination between the normally segregated communities of conventional and natural medicine. This helps strengthen the connection between medical practices and compounding pharmacies to create better care for patients and the industry as a whole.

     

    Day to day activities will include (but are not limited to) collecting samples of our product to submit to third party labs and entering the data in the computer. Packing the samples to be sent to the lab. Create and maintain digital and physical documentation of medications. Input results, clear medications, and process paperwork for corresponding batches and logs. Rotate stock for new first in and first out for batches. Communicate between different departments about status of medication, timeline and needs. Ensure efficiency and structure is maintained through collaborative efforts between departments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Must have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and basic computer skills in order to interact with key stakeholders

    • Must have a positive, “can-do attitude" at all times

    • Must want to learn new things and become an understudy to the experienced team we have

    • Must have the ability to pay attention to details and cleanliness

    • Must be willing to get your hands dirty

    • Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist in charge

    • Inventory and storage of products, complete appropriate documentation such as labels, log sheets, and reports

    Qualifications:

    • Must be able to adhere to organizational policies and procedures

    • Must be able to perform basic computer functions

    • Must have knowledge of Microsoft applications (teams, excel, word)

    • Must have the ability to work closely and effectively with others in a team oriented environment

    • Must possess problem solving, organizational, and time management skills

    • Must be able to lift over 50 lbs
