    CACI's Command, Control, Computing, and Intelligence (C3I) line of business delivers industry leading Signals Intelligence exploitation and Electronic Warfare products that enable our nation’s tactical warfighters to effectively utilize distributed grids of networked sensors, assets, and platforms to perform a variety of critical national security driven missions. The Opportunity: Our team is seeking a Field Service Systems Engineer to join the Navy Air (NAVAIR) Solutions Group to deploy and maintain Australian Commonwealth Triton Mission Control Systems. This position will be temporarily based out of Jacksonville, Florida for approximately 6 months for training and then shift to Tindal, Australia. Periodic travel between operational sites within Australia to provide systems support and execute hardware and software upgrades will be required.

    Responsibilities:

    Position will provide support to the Remote Quick Look (RQL) ground systems infrastructure, including

    • Configuration of ground based RQL components

    • Apply system-level knowledge (operating system and hardware) to diagnose issues and provide solutions

    • Troubleshooting and fault resolution of the RQL during pre-flight, flight and post-flight phases of operation

    • Performance of operational level maintenance

    • Installation hardware and software upgrades

    • Provide technical assistance to Technical, Maintenance and Engineering support staff to enable personnel to:

    o Interpret technical manuals and drawings

    o Evaluate logistics products and resources to identify deficiencies or recommend improvements o Assess operational communication system configurations

    • Evaluate maintenance practices to identify maintenance or training deficiencies that may be improved through hands on on-the-job training and informal training; and troubleshoot failures and recommend corrective action.

    • Work 38 hours per week, averaged over a four-week period, single shift coverage, with maintenance shift schedules and crew rostering aligned to meet the requirements of the Australian Commonwealth.

    • Provide technical leadership to junior engineering personnel across the customer organization associated with RQL system.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • TS/SCI w/Polygraph

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field; or

    • Associate degree in a related field and four years of recent specialized experience; or

    • A high school diploma and eight years of recent specialized experience.

    • Current US Department of Defense 8570 Approved IAT II or higher baseline certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent/higher). Must be obtainable within 90 days of start.

    Desired Skills and Qualifications:

    • Experience and knowledge in Navy Distributed SIGINT Operations (DSO)

    • Experience with installing, integrating, and configuring DSO systems and operational networks,

    • Experience in troubleshooting DSO operational systems and networks,

    • Strong knowledge of Routing Protocol Configurations, OSI 7 Layer Model, IPv4 and IPv6, DNS, DHCP,

    • Experience with working on classified transport networks,

    • Experience with troubleshooting network connectivity issues,

    • Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or CentOS,

    • Knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting for Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) firewalls,

    • Knowledge of NetApp/ONTAP Solutions

    • Knowledge of Python, Java, and SQL

    • Knowledge of VMware/ESXi

    Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $75,200-$158,100
