    We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven professional to join our Columbus, OH office. The successful candidate will assist the Applied Equipment Direct Sales Office (DSO) by providing pre-sale and post-sale support to our customers.     Role Responsibilities

    + Meet performance goals.

    + Execute take-offs, estimates, and quotes.

    + Provide support to customers and Sales Engineers.

    + Work Independently to Support Sales of Commercial HVAC Systems.

    + Review plans and specifications to develop HVAC systems solutions.

    + Effectively and professionally communicate requirements with customers and internal teams.

    + Adapt to customer specific requirements.

    + Provide HVAC equipment selections, both new and replacements.

    + Provide technical support for the sales of commercial air conditioning systems to customers and their respective consulting engineers.

    + Seek new business opportunities by responding to RFQ's for new and/or existing customers.

    + Ability to coordinate across multiple functions, to maintain composure in fast-paced situations, and to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

    + Support Sales Managers and Sales Coordinators with new and existing accounts and the introduction of new products.

    + Have a combination of excellent technical skills, be a self-starter, with strong business understanding, strong self-direction, and excellent. interpersonal/influencing skills to work across the Carrier organization and with customers.

    Required Qualifications

    + High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of HVAC industry sales experience or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.

    + Ability to travel up to 5% domestically.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Practical to substantial knowledge of Commercial HVAC Systems and Construction Industry.

    + Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

    + Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects

    + Sense of urgency, self-initiative, dedication, and sense of ownership.

    + Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills with the ability to get along with both external customers and a multi-functional team of sales, engineering, manufacturing & marketing associates.

    + Outstanding follow-up and follow-through skills.

    + Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to prioritize multiple priorities.

    + Unwavering customer service orientation.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

    Pay Range:

    $79,500.00-$111,500.00
