What You'll Do

Principal Asset Management is seeking an **Associate Director, Institutional Sales** . In this role, you’ll build relationships with institutional clients, prospects, and industry consultants by providing investment solutions through Principal Asset Management products. Manage your own book of business, support senior sales efforts, and help drive client satisfaction, asset growth, and new business opportunities.

+ Build relationships with institutional clients, prospects, and consultants to drive new business and identify cross-selling opportunities.

+ Support product development efforts and represent the firm at industry events and conferences.

Who You Are

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, MBA preferred

+ FINRA licensing required, including FINRA Series 7 & 63

+ CFA preferred, but not required

+ At least 5 years of experience in the institutional asset management industry

Travel will be required based on location, business or client needs.

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$100800 - $182400 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environments

This role offers the ability for in-office or hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical work week) work arrangements. You’ll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
