    TE Connectivity's Regional Product Managers (RPM) manage all aspects of a product portfolio. They are tied directly to the customer and own business within the region. RPMs develop and execute the overall business and portfolio strategy to meet sales and profit targets within the region.

     

    This role of Americas RPM for Board Connectivity Solutions (BCS) will manage a multi-million-dollar product category, with aspirational growth targets. This RPM will interact closely with the Global Product Manager, shaping a regional strategy for growth to be executed by the RPM. This RPM will need to act with an entrepreneurial spirit engaging Sales and customers directly and other (BCS) team members sharing best practices and driving the overall vision

    General:

    The function reports to the Sr. Manager of Product Management of (BCS) and should strive for a strong professional relation/collaboration with multiple other functions within the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop and implement product strategy for the Americas region, aligned with the global product roadmap

    + Research market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape

    + Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking

    + Provide regional monthly forecast for S&OP process.

    + Establishing stronger competitive cross reference database

    + Determining and establishing competitive pricing strategies for the Americas region

    + Build strong working relationships with internal sales and our external channel partners

    + Drive key initiatives with sales and marketing to develop pipeline and deliver conversion

    + Partnering with Marketing/Digital to support Go-To-Market strategy execution

    + Partner and work with operations, quality and supply chain to improve and provide the customer with extraordinary service levels

    + Enhancing product-related digital content on TE.com

    + Drive the regional launch of new product introductions and activities

    + Develop product promotional campaigns, training presentations, and training sessions

    + Engage with product segmentation and other life cycle management activities

    + Deliver product information to customers and sales team as needed

    + Perform other special company projects as require

    Key Goals & Objectives / Measuremen

    + Revenue growth and margin improvement

    + Business development; creation of opportunity pipeline and conversion

    What your background should look like:

    + Bachelor’s degree or higher

    + 5-10 years of employment with TE Connectivity, Product Management or Sales experience supporting an electrical connector portfolio

    + Demonstrated behavior and values above TE standards and proven track record of meeting / exceeding performance goals

    + Drive for results mentality with the ability to work to deadlines and challenging targets

    + Business acumen combined with an entrepreneurial mind-set

    + Customer focus with solution-oriented thinking

    + Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to build strong, credible relationships with multiple functions

    + Strong presentation, selling and negotiation skills

    + Fully acquainted with Microsoft Office Suite software

    + SAP knowledge a plus

    COMPENSATION

    • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $107,800 - $161,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

    • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

    • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
