Job Description

A Fortune 500 aerospace and aviation client is looking for someone to join their IT Applications Team as an SAP PI/PO Developer to help with their business transformation activities around their SAP legacy and future middleware environment in PI/PO and CPI (BTP/Integration Suite). You will be helping to support the development and delivery of business-critical technology solutions in support of Future Factory, Future Supply Chain, Manufacturing Execution and ERP transformation. This client is looking to migrate off PI/PO before end of support in 2027, and you will be helping lead the transformation, roadmap, and strategy in both the legacy platform (PI/PO) and the new platform (CPI/BTP). This role will start out 70% in legacy environment and 30% in new platform.

You will be responsible for:

Designing and developing integration scenarios using SAP PI/PO, CPI (BTP/Integration Suite) to enable seamless communication between different SAP and non-SAP systems.

Configuring and customizing SAP PI/PO adapters, mappings, and routing rules to ensure smooth data flow between systems. Develop and optimize SAP PI/PO, CPI (BTP/Integration Suite) and Axway interfaces for efficient data transmission and error handling.

Conducting unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for SAP PI/PO, CPI integration scenarios as well as provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP PI/PO, Axway and CPI interfaces.

Documenting integration designs, configurations, and operational procedures as well as identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting tasks/assignments.

This client works a 9/80 schedule so you will have every other Friday off. This role requires someone local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area who is willing to go onsite full time.

Skills and Requirements

At least 5 years of experience using SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration)

Experience with SAP CPI (BTP Integration Suite) any migration experience form PI/PO to CPI preferred

Experience in both technical hands on development and architecture roles

Proficient in SAP PI/PO development, including configuration, mapping, and adapter usage

Experience with various PI/PO adapters (IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, etc.) and their configuration

Knowledge of SAP ABAP and Java programming languages for custom development within SAP PI/PO

Any experience with integrating EDI interfaces

Bachelors Degree is required; Major in Computer Science or Information Systems is strongly preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication

Ability to work in collaborative team environment Any experience working with additional middleware such as Mulesoft, Boomi, etc. null
