Our client, _a global technology and engineering leader_ , is seeking a **Manager Tax Mergers and Acquisitions** to join their team in **Clayton, MO** . As a Manager Tax Mergers and Acquisitions, you will be part of the Tax Department supporting various corporate initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Manager Tax Mergers and Acquisitions

**Location:** Clayton, MO 63105

**Base Salary Range:** $140-160K

Job Function:

+ Review and structure corporate acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations to ensure tax efficiency.

+ Coordinate and perform tax due diligence for acquisitions and reverse tax due diligence for divestitures.

+ Manage day-to-day IRS U.S. federal income tax examinations and tax controversies.

+ Advise management on tax-related matters and recommend actions to minimize tax liabilities.

+ Prepare requests for accounting method changes and assist in negotiations with taxing authorities.

Required Qualifications:

+ Minimum of five (5) years of concentrated experience in tax matters with a multinational corporation or large law firm.

+ Experience with U.S. international and/or U.S. state tax matters is a plus.

+ Legal authorization to work in the United States.

+ Preferred: J.D. or graduate degree in Tax with meaningful tax/financial accounting experience.

+ Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines effectively.
