    The Belleville Henderson Central School District is a small rural district and part of the Jefferson-Lewis BOCES. It is located in south-western Jefferson County on the shores of Lake Ontario. The District, primarily residential and agricultural, encompasses an area of approximately 105 square miles with an estimated population of 4500 year-round residents. During the summer tourist season, the population increases significantly. Agriculture is the chief industry with a strong tourist season.
